CAVINO S.A. was established in 1958 in Aigio city in Peloponnese, Greece. Initially winery but soon also distillery together and climate controlled warehouses completed modern infrastructure of the company.
Today, CAVINO, being a national leader in production and exports of wines and traditional Greek spirit Ouzo, produces more than 8.5 million bottles of wines and 6.5 million bottles of Ouzo annually.
CAVINO established Domain Mega Spileo in 1999 bringing soon to Greek and international markets the highest quality premium wines from single vineyard of monastery Mega Spileo (Grand Cave) located in unique natural conditions at 800 meters altitude above the sea and canyon in Peloponnese.
CAVINO is certified by ISO and IFS quality standards assuring its high quality production level. New fully automated ultramodern bottling line, setting new standards of quality and proving the leading position of the company in Greek wine market.

Cavino Classics offer eight wine varieties from the sub-mountainous zones of Peloponesse, altitude 350 – 700 meters, where the grapes are carefully gathered and handled. Varieties range from, semi-sweet red and white wines, to dry reds, whites and rose.

Exclusive single vineyard producing award wining Domain Mega Spileo wine. The official references about the monastery’s vineyard Mega Spileo exist from 1550. The domain and the winery were used by monks for viticulture and winemaking. The renovation of the vineyard and the planting of new vines took place in 1999. Linear vineries of late germinative cycle were planted with local and international varieties Mavrodafne, Mavro Kalavritino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Lagorthi, Asyrtiko and others.
