The Introduction One Stop Shop to their 1.3 billion customers.

I arrived home , sat down in my favourite chair, and happily sighed  “there’s no place like home”.  I had just returned from another international business trip where I spent a week in China and a week in Europe attending exhibitions,  connecting with manufacturers and array of business owners and operators.

The first leg of my trip originated in China attending and being a part of Australia and New Zealand Complementary Health Product Association Expo (ANZHP) team.  I was travelling with over 20 other Australian and New Zealand owned businesses and manufactures to launch and promote Australian products.

Day one in China saw official formalities and press opening of the ANZHP Expo showcasing Australian and New Zealand products into China.  Overcoming the red tape that comes with doing business in China, formalities, speeches and pleasantries are important to building relationships in China.  Part of the Chinese attendees were two chain store heavyweights, owning over 1500 health stores between them throughout China.  Both owners took part in official procedures, with signing of documents supporting and participating in importing products from the ANZHP Expo into their stores throughout China.

Day two in China was the Opening of the Australia New Zealand Health Expo, showcasing wines and beverages, fresh fruit and vegetables, vitamins, skin care, honey, sanitary products, baby formula and woollen products to name a few.  Throughout my time spent in China many formal events and gala dinners took place, which widened my network base and introduced me to a greater product variety.

Departing Qingdao China, I arrived in Greece where I had further conferences to attend, introducing Greek companies into the Asian market participating in the ‘One Stop Shop Concept’ that was showcased at the exhibition.  With vast connections developed, several Greek businesses were eager to meet and discuss how their products could be exported into Asia. I will explore more into the europe market on my next news in the coming months.

With productive and successful meetings now behind me, it is time to visit family and friends not often seen, but never forgotten.  Greece feels like my second home away from home, but there is always more to explore, to discover, to taste and to feel.
